Lhende Khola / Bhote Koshi–Trishuli flood

On 26 August 2026 an outburst flood entered Nepal at Timure from the Tibetan / Gyirong catchment and travelled the Bhote Koshi–Trishuli corridor toward Devghat. Casualty figures remain provisional and come from NDRRMA / Nepal Police via independent compilations — not from this app.

A surge from the upper catchment (ice/rock avalanche still under investigation) entered Nepal around 09:15 NPT at Timure, damaging Syabrubesi and Betrawati, then moving through Dhading to Mugling and Devghat. Furke gauge washed out near 10.48 m.
